Cianne and Myself started filming today!

We decided to film a sequence of shots for the beginning of our Noir inspired film (so exciting!).
So our femme fetal and actress Caitlin came over to my house as Cianne and I filmed her getting ready for a party.

We had already discussed what we wanted to film, the angles, but in our own style we also explored extra shots so we could get creative and have fun, we ended up getting some really effective shots using close ups, the focus and the dramatic lighting of the room.

Setting up my bedroom to look girly and post was pretty fun, I can't be bothered changing it haha.

We played with the lighting using the darkness to create dramatic effects for our scene. Our actress worked so well and added a lot of cool ideas to try as well, it was nice having feed back. We have to make sure her costume is the same when we shoot the movie night.

We also managed to shoot some shots for the call scene between the characters Brooke and Rueben when they talk at night, we might have to do this again according to changes in the script and getting a better outcome. Yet for the rough edit what we have so far is nice.

We shot it in the dark using the laptop's light as the lighting source-made a pretty cool isolated look, which symbolizes how Brooke feels when she's talking which is great for the product!

SO NOW......
We just got to do editing and film the rest of the film...I also have to complete the scrip for the other scenes, (it's a bit late because of time constraints each day) but we will get through this!
